Politics was never in my DNA.

I was born in Bellshill and brought up in Coatbridge, the eldest of 3 daughters. I am an Identical Twin, being 7 minutes older than my sister.

I played Hockey for Scotland until a busted knee stopped me from continuing further. From here, I started work within the hospitality industry, eventually becoming management. It was here where I met my husband.

I now live in South Lanarkshire, having moved here in 2015 and share a home with my husband, son & daughter, and our little dog, Cheeky.

I’ve worked in some form of care role for about 16 years and this quickly became my passion. I take that passion and transfer it into helping you, my constituents.

My hope is to enhance the lives of everyone in Ward 5 and this is why I firmly believe in strong local governance within an Independent Scotland.
