10/05/24 - Attended another meeting with Persimmon regarding their failures within Avon Water Walk. This meeting was attended by 2 residents from the development, representatives from Persimmon, and MSP Christina McKelvie and staff. I have continually been collating snagging issues, some of which are horrendous, and have now emailed these to my contact within Persimmon.

06/06/24 - Attended Lanimers Day in Lanark. Such a privilege to be invited to such an outstanding event.

08/06/24 - Attended the Gala Day breakfast where I got to meet the court of the Strathaven Gala Day. Was a pleasure to sit with the Queen, her Champion and their families. Managed to get a good catch up with your other councillor for Ward 5, Susan Kerr. The procession was absolutely fantastic, my personal favourite was the 80’s themed Disco. Massive well done to everyone involved.

08/06/24 - Visited the Inaugural Stonehouse Market. A tremendous amount of work has went into ensuring this event took place and I look forward to seeing it flourish.

09/06/24 - Another day on the campaign trail. This time for Grant Costello, SNP candidate for East Kilbride & Strathaven. Some good responses on the doors of Stonehouse.

10/06/24 - Meeting of the full SNP Group ahead of the upcoming Full Council Meeting. As always we discussed ways in which we as SNP Councillors can help you.

10/06/24 - Met with the Avon Water Walk Owners Association. Provided support and advice on setting up a constituted group to work on behalf of every resident of Avon Water Walk

12/06/24 - Meeting of the Full Council. In an election period there have to be no motions of a political nature, that is why I was disappointed the ruling Labour/LibDem Group proposed a motion directly targeted at First Minister John Swinney. As per usual, this had backing from the Tories and the Independents. Why do I expect anything more?

13/06/24 & 14/06/24 - More education appeals.

14/06/24 - Held a Euro’s opening party at home. Disappointing result but it’s only the first game. Keep up the faith and I wish all our players the very best of luck.
